We’ll combine tarot draws, guided reflections, and quick-paced exercises to spark imaginative breakthroughs and move your work into fresh territory. After the class you’ll also receive resources to keep the wheels of your practice turning.

This week brings a trio of seasonal festivals: Valentine’s Day, the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, and celebrations for the Year of the Fire Horse. With their emphasis on devotion, instinct, and fierce vitality, this is the perfect moment to deepen your craft, gain creative traction, and reconnect with the heart of your storytelling.

About Tarot For Writers workshops

The tarot is a great gift for writers: an invitation to the imagination, a tool for creative focus, a prompt for accessing our unconscious drives.

This series of interactive Tarot For Writers workshops explores the potential of the tarot in creative writing as well as writing for personal growth. Each workshop includes in-class writing experiments, and offers plenty of ideas to develop in your personal practice, whether you’re generating new pieces or revising work-in-progress. After the class you’ll be sent resources to explore at your own pace, including a handy reference on tarot for writers.
