The tarot is a great gift for writers: an invitation to the imagination, a tool for creative focus, a prompt for accessing our unconscious drives.

In this series of interactive workshops we explore the potential of the tarot in creative writing as well as writing for personal growth.

Classes survey the archetypes of the Major Arcana and investigate the four elements, court cards, and number cards of the Minor Arcana. There are in-class writing experiments, and ideas to take away and try at your own pace – as well as a handy reference on tarot for writers. Resources on tarot are discussed and different styles of tarot decks and divination cards investigated.
